Marvin Efird Park Community Garden (Rain Plan - Barn)
Please join us Saturday, April 15th at 9:30 a.m. for an information session on Community Garden Tips & Advice.
Master Gardener Mary Sipe, who has had garden plots in the community garden since it’s beginning, will offer a tips and advice orientation session to begin our growing season. This is free and open to the public.
The discussion will include where to find gardening tools and supplies, how to deal with refuse, planting and watering recommendations, basic rules, etc. She will also discuss general gardening and will answer questions about vegetable plantings and care. We will meet at the garden unless it is raining. If it is raining, we will meet at the barn.
This will be a good opportunity to meet other gardeners and new friends. If you cannot attend, respond to this email so we can notify you if we add another session.
Call the Village Hall with any questions at 704-843-1680.
