Planning and Zoning

The Village provides the following services:  

  • Review of all subdivision plats and site plans for compliance with Village Ordinances
  • Review of all zoning permit applications within the Village to insure that new construction or building renovations comply with zoning regulations which control such issues as building setbacks, parking and signage.
  • Administer enforcement of Village Ordinances
  • Assist public by providing information regarding zoning and development.
  • Establish and update Village Plans
  • Maintain Zoning Map
  • Provides staff support and makes recommendation on land use for many boards and committees, including the:
    • Board of Adjustment
    • Planning Board
    • Design Review Board
    • Village Council
    • Parks, Recreation and Greenway Board
  • Provides zoning verification letters
